| I have been
on my weight loss journey for almost three
years and it has been an ongoing battle to
find the combination of things that makes
weight loss successful.
Most people (including myself at one time)
don't want to hear that the only way to lose
weight permanently and healthy is to combine
diet and exercise. But it is true.
I tried every quick weight loss diet under
the sun; however, I was not successful until I
began exercising at Berwick Curves and eating a
healthy diet. I tried everything from Slimfast
to Weight Watchers but always to gain the
weight back and having to start over.
My success has come from exercising at
Berwick Curves, doing the Low Carb, Low Fat, and High
Protein diet at Curves and also trusting the Lord Jesus Christ to help me during those
times of temptations. I have been consistently
losing weight doing these three things and can
happily say that I have lost 80 pounds. My
high weight was 320 pounds and I am now at
approximately 240 pounds.
I know women are not suppose to talk about
how much they weigh; however, I am extremely
proud of my accomplishments and I could not
have done it without God and the staff and my
fellow workout buddies at Curves. I feel very
loved, supported, and encouraged at Berwick Curves and
it's the best 30 bucks that I spend each
month.
